  1. There was no other choice , I wish he was a player on the team I root for . Marchand the great Canuck killer .

  2. i have a feeling he’s not gonna change a bit lol, a C patch on his jersey ain’t enough to stop that infamous slew foot

  3. We all love Brad Marchand's antics…. come on Man. Other than a Bruin fan, who in the right mind would like this guy's antics? Be serious

  4. I’ve watched all 82 games every year for the last 20 years. There is no other choice for captain. Do u have other options? Yes, would it make sense? Not even a smidge lol. If your not a Bs fan it for one reason or another, may not make sense but if u are, then u know. Marchand will resign or retire a Bruin without a doubt. Great choice. The ONLY choice. And not a soul in Boston or that Locker room would have had it any other way .

  5. I'm going to disagree with you since I've been a lifelong fan of only one team: THE BRUINS. They have shown for a long time now, that they value long-time veterans on their squad for leadership. He was going to be the only captain in the discussion. And if you watched the playoff run, you could tell that he was already their leader. Bergie was hurting and out for something like 5 games, and all the while Marchand had taken the lead. He wasn't showing his "rat" antics that were normally associated with him. He stepped up because I think he KNEW he was going to their leader when Bergeron and Krecji were gone. He did a great job and showed real maturity when he was there in their absence. Of COURSE Brad was going to be Captain. And no Bruin is going to feel otherwise.

  6. I think its not a skill issue. Being captain is largely unseen. its about being a leader behind closed doors and motivating your team. So yes Pastrnak is clearly the most talented of the current Bruins, that doesn't automatically make him the perfect choice for a captain

  7. Anyone who follows any Bruins hockey knows he would be the C. Oh his contract is almost up? Brad Marchand isn't going anywhere outside of Boston, he is a Bruin and the Bruins are Marchand, he will retire there unless management completely fucks up

  8. I just love the idea of giving the shit disturber of the team the C. Like when Theo Fleury got it in Calgary, that was great. Mind you that was more of a forced issue because of Nieuwendyk, but still.
