  1. It blows my mind that we're dealing not just with grown adults but millionaires and they have to hand over their cell phone like they're in prison or an abusive school. The coach's job isn't to judge a player's personal life. His job is to put a system in place that will help the team win. The players' personal lives are fundamentally irrelevant unless they approach the coach or someone else in the organization with a mental health concern. A player's cell phone goes far beyond the scope of a coach's job and is none of their business. I was on a swim team for over a decade and no coach once pried into private information like that. Sure, I've dealt with unprofessional coaches, but even the most unprofessional coach I dealt with didn't care what I was doing outside of the pool beyond the usual diet, exercise and sleep routine. Whether I had a girlfriend or not was none of his concern as long as I was on time for practices and swim competitions and put the effort in. I've never heard of a coach doing something like this and not ending up at least fired.

  2. Blue jackets GM and president should be the next to go.

  3. It would be good PR to move Pearson to a team he wants to go to for like a 4th rounder. We certainly wouldn't get a lot for him anyway so maybe focus on doing right by Tanner.

  4. Friedman sided with Gaudreau who is a documented lying pos over Biz.
    F'k Friedman.

  5. Say what you will about Mike Babcock but the dude fleeced the blue jackets for 8 million dollars.

  6. Moving Pearson is the solution to your cap problem. It gives you enough space to ride out the final year of Myers and then you have real breathing room.
