TOUGHNESS has been the issue in the playoffs!!!!! The scoring only stops when they meet a team that pushes them around. They do NOT stand up for each other even when their goalie gets run over. The offense is there. Last year the offense stopped when they could not match Chucky (agitator) Bennet (hard questionable hits). (Hit on Slavin was legal) Gudas (Hard hitting defenseman) The Canes had no one to give it back! The Canes play too nice!!!! This off season they went out and got exactly what they needed. Bunting- AGITATOR that has offense, Orlov- A hard hitting defenseman (sometimes dirty. Remember the his on Necas two years ago) He also has an offensive side to him. Lemeiux- Protector!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone that will make other teams think twice!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!! This Canes team is Finally complete!!!!!
More times than not I do not agree with Jared. Sorry. I am a former player and coach. Both at a high level. I don't think he watched the Wolves last year. Suzuki after returning from injury looked real good. Pronomaryev (SP) also looked real good. Honestly they looked better than every one on the Canes fourth line!!!!! I would not be surprised to see one of them take Drury out of the lineup. Or you could see RBA give Necas or Jarvis a shot at center. Both were drafted as centers.
