    No way would i trade Jarnkrok at his 2.1 contract his 20 goals are what helps this team plus you cant replace him with someone else at that cap hit

I would say that 90% of these people are coming from a place of jealousy. EVERY YT'er plays adds. Every single one.     Jarnkrok will be 3rd line RW. Only with a injury will he be in the top 6. If he does play on the 3rd line all season he will have less goals and points. Getting to play in the leafs top 6 a fair amount of last season was the only reason he had a career year. He has never played with that type of talent in his career so it only makes sense. The leafs do need him for his PK ability because with the new lineup they are thin in that department.

    This guy is a zero. Especially in the playoffs. Just a gaping hole in the roster like Kerfoot & Holl. Should be shipped out as soon as possible

    Best time to trade him is now while is value is high. He doesn’t produce anywhere near the same like that on the 3rd and 4th line.

    Last year he was the first guy promoted to top 6 minutes when someone went out with injury. Now they have more options and he likely won’t be leaned on upfront anywhere near as often. I can see a substantial drop off.

    Edit : After viewing Dobberhockey statistics. His most common line mates were Marner and Tavares followed by Marner and Matthews.
    So I double down. A huge decline in production may be in the works. (Barring multiple significant injuries in the top 6)

    Also and most importantly the guy was a COMPLETE dud in the playoffs. Utterly invisible.
