The Dallas Stars take game 1 of the Stanley Cup finals against the Tampa Bay Lightning by a score of 4-1. The story of the night was no other than Anton Khudobin for Dallas, as he makes 35 saves on 36 shots. 22 of those saves came in the 3rd period. He was fantastic in this game, just like he has been during the playoffs. Joel Hanley and Yanni Gourde open up the scoring for both teams, but Dallas takes control with 2 goals in the 2nd period. One coming with less than 30 seconds in the 2nd period off the stick of Joel Kiviranta. In the 3rd period, Tampa Bay came out flying getting 22 shots, but Khudobin steals the show. The dagger is put in by Dickinson to close this game out. It is shaping up to be a great finals; I have Dallas winning the Cup in 6, what are your thoughts?
