   Blues naming next captain of the franchise tomorrow, September 19th.

   Its gonna be Schenn or Thomas. Schenn makes the most sense but also they may give it to their franchise center who is locked up for 8 years.

   I’ll be surprised if it’s Schenn. Hard to imagine he’ll be on the team for more than two seasons, given his age, salary and our apparent not being good.

    I hope it’s Schenn. I really don’t care who the captain is, but whoever gets it might feel a sort of extra responsibility and could mess with their game. I think a veteran like Schenn wouldn’t really give a crap, so less effected by getting it.
