Diehard Av’s fan here and I got to say….I HATE ROBERTSON!!! He’s freaking good and the Stars legitimately scare me a bit. In my opinion he will lead the league in goals this year.

Real hockey fans have known about him for a while now. Just like Kaprisov many star players don’t get talked about because they aren’t on an original 6 or big market team. This logic applies to all sports. Look how much the NFL hypes up the cowboys every year just for them to suck. It’s about selling hope and making money.

He always finds open ice, even right in front. And his release of the puck is just insane, it's impossible to react to. Frickin' dynamo. Forget the Rocket, I'd put this kid up for the Conn Smythe if he keeps this up.
Lol I love how this guy is surprised Robertson isn’t being talked about. The NHL has always done a HORRIBLE job at promoting their star players like every other league does. I mean, the fact you could go and ask a good majority of Americans “who Connor Mcdavid is” and most wouldn’t know….shows how poor NHL markets their players. So, that simple fact makes it unsurprising that ‘no one is talking about Robertson’….Trust me…everyone in Canada knows who Robertson is lol. The game just isn’t well known in the US. Even big time sports fans in the US probably wouldn’t know many players passed Mcdavid. Now go ahead and ask any Canadian who Lebron James, Tom Brady, Luka Doncic, Josh Allen, Patrick mahomes is….and most of us would know even if they’re not huge sports fans. It’s just a different measure of marketability. And Facebook and other social media has always pushed other sports (wether that’s NBA, NFL, MLB buying ads or pushing sports media to post more about it….I really have no clue, but this is most likely the case.)

Dude scored 15G 15A in 16 GP between Nov 1 and Dec 1. That is absurd. I do think there's an element of luck to the stat line being that high, but the kid is getting 50 for sure this season. Possibly the best ever single draft for a team. Elite goalie, defenseman and forward all in one swoop.

I remember looking at the top goal scorers one season and saw a guy with 41 goals and I was like, WHO? Then I looked at his goals and realized this guy is capable of 50 and even 60 goals in his career. He goes into the dirty areas and has a heavy shot. His size and skating make him tough to defend. Dallas got a franchise player who has so much potential to break 100 points every year.
KFC is underated… And has been doing it longer then Robertson. Almost scored 50 goals last year
Watching him play in the playoffs last year I knew he was good, but tbh not THIS good. Gotta watch out for Dallas they’re sleepers.
