This cameraperson is the same guy that films highschool fights. It’s the only explanation.
Honestly what is a 25 year old doing in this tournament? Leafs have one 22 year old & the rest are 21 & under.
I get they won’t do full national broadcast for this, but the quality and everything about this broadcast feels like I’m watching some university hockey game on Rogers TV.
I forgot what it was like to watch hockey without those god-forsaken fake ads on the boards.

For those just checking the GDT, they’re playing the rest of the first period on another pad with no cameras and after that they’re going to come back and finish the game on the rink with the TV setup.
