a pic of him in a Bruins jersey is blasphemous

  2. Seems like we’re preparing for Schmid to get a full year in AHL despite the first round success he had. Also, we have a pic of Kinkaid in a Devils’ jersey. Why the Bruins jersey here?

The one true king, kingkaid, playoff legend

DraftKings has already set the over/under on how many times his helmet falls off at 37.5

Add this to the list of random unexpected things to happen in the last week or so. Hasn’t played much in the NHL recently, but I’d guess he is still capable of filling in for short stretches

That winning smile, I missed it. Not to mention the emojis, looking forward to a whole new set of emojis for the new players.

    Welcome Back!

I’m honestly not upset. Kinkaid has actually been a good back up for us in the past (we were not getting into the playoffs in 2018 without him going on a run) and he’s an insurance goalie right now. We know he’s capable of performing in the NHL if someone gets hurt.

He also assumably knows his role with Fitz being so vocal about going into the season with a Vanecek/Schmid duo. If he wants NHL action at all, he’s gonna have to fight, and claw to keep it when he gets a chance. Pressure is up for Vanecek and Schmid in training camp, as well, because Kinkaid is capable of a run and should make them fight

This also, unfortunately, may be a bad sign Daws is not ready yet. Rookies reported today, so it could mean someone didn’t pass their physical. Hopefully not Daws, but we know there were issues

So Schmid will be the starter in AHL while Daws recovers, Kinkaid will backup for VV.

When Daws returns, Schmid comes back to Devils and Kinkaid drops down to AHL?

I’m a little concerned that it looks like we’re going quantity over quality at the moment, but I guess it doesn’t hurt to have NHL experience throughout the franchise. My hope is this means Kinkaid’s in the A/injury call-up position and we’re going Vitek/Schmid, and that the trust management would therefore be putting in that pair is founded.
