this is getting ridiculous and he’s clearly desperate for content/notoriety. I’m over this.

  2. mickeyhause

This is biased reporting. He has beef with babs and is using his platform as an attempt at crucifixion. He needs to sit down, shut up, and let the adults talk and play hockey

  3. ASillyGoos3

Grown ass men acting like Babs is a super villain when he’s just old lmfao embarrassing for biz and the chiclets crew

  4. w_d_roll_RIP

it’s embarrassing for the sport that Biz is one of its most well known media figures. Part of why i’ve become more and more disillusioned to the sport as a whole despite still being a hardcore jackets fan

  5. Paul Miss-The-Net is just desperate for more engagements now

  6. BigRig432

Sounds like a man who gets way too pressed about being called out for spreading misinformation

    Two questions:

    1) Who the heck is this guy and why he important to listen to?

    2) Does he have a personal vendetta against Babs just like that one other player whose name slip through my mind?

  8. Civil_Eng_PE

This is legit horrible. And commodore said he was gonna come out with this same shit closer to training camp start (just to fuck with us more)… this is going to be in the media all week and it’ll run into training camp and now all the players are going to be bothered by this stupid shit. Media going to ask question on this topic rather than hockey related stuff. Just ruins the start of our season. Biz is a known CBJ hater and Commodore is a fuck. I fucking hate this

  9. iamelloyello

I didn’t even know who this was until today.

What an insufferable skidmark. How does this dude have a fanbase?

    “Tons of guys confirmed this”

    Name some.

  11. lostincbus

It’s weird how he completely skips Boone’s messaging.

  12. beginner-woodworker

Hah! Damn thats hilarious! I liked Biz during the playoffs, hopefully this doesn’t ruin his chance of being on this coming season

  13. GarretBarrett

If Cappy said it’s alright, it’s alright. Move on.

I think Babs probably pulled the move that Biz described when he used to coach. The fact that “tons of guys” confirm it leads me to think it’s an old behavior. Boone separately shared with other guys how he showed Babs some pictures on his phone. Biz heard both stories and assumed them to be the same thing when they were entirely different. Biz is just too pig headed to admit he didn’t investigate the recent story and is gonna call Boone a liar. Fucking child.

  15. darrylmacstone

Biz is gonna be out of the TV Biz if he keeps behaving like this

  16. this is the response of someone with an ironclad argument

  17. AeroBlack33

What a child. No integrity for someone on his position.

  18. DuxBelisarius

These guys absolutely showed their asses on this one.

Either they were right, but the team and the players were never going to throw Babs under the bus like this, and they just handed a W to a serial abuser

    OR

They were wrong (and I’m fairly certain they were), and they ran a false story using Boone Jenner and the players as their shield, all in the name of a petty vendetta.

What they’ve done is contemptible either way, and I hope they get raked over the coals for it

  19. Fuck Biz. Dude is a clown. Doubling down just confirms that.

The whole thing never made sense from a logical standpoint anyway. At least Biz’s story didn’t, Babcock is a lot of things, but he’s not an idiot. He’d have to be dumbest person alive to pull what Biz said he did in literally his first meetings with the players, given the microscope he’s under.

  21. a_pluhseebow

I think what a lot of Blue Jackets fans here fail to recognize is that Babcock won’t change. Think about it. Babcock was given a very light punishment and now all the sudden he is back at a head coaching gig in the NHL. I’m sure his mindset is still the same. It’s the same thing when a convict goes to jail, they go to jail because their freedoms are gone and they are to sit with themselves and think about what they have done.

I really don’t think Babcock has been put through that similar punishment. He’s probably thinking to himself that what he did in the past wasn’t anything bad, especially considering he got another coaching job. So you see the mannerisms of the organization reflect the mannerisms of the coach. The Blue Jackets are ok with sacrificing their players mental health for a better coach and potentially more wins.

And that’s where it will all go wrong. So expect the next 2-3 years to be the same shit show.

I’m so out of the loop on this I don’t even really want to know what happened anymore.
