    I think that’s huge news. And in all honesty? I’d almost say leave him in the AHL and promote someone else in the meanwhile. Not that he hasn’t earned a spot on the team, but let him really develop further and come in in the 2025 year ridiculously strong as a rookie

    Hell yeah! This should put him on a great development track. Not having to bounce around to 4 different teams like last year will be huge too. Including juniors and playoffs, I think he played in 72 games last year but this year will be more consistent and competitive play for him.

    Definitely better than going back to the O.

    Hopefully that takes some weight off and he can just play more.

    Wouldn’t be surprised though if he ends up making the team. Though ice time in CV is probably better.
