  1. Don’t talk bad on the oilers prospects Lego we are a lot deeper than you think Dylan Holloway, Xavier bourgault , matvey petrov , carter savoie , Philip broberg, filip engras, and yes our defence isn’t the strongest I agree but Marcus neimeilanen dmirty samurkov are all decent, and we are fine without arturi our Kane signing is better

  2. Please, in your next video, talk about the Red Wings Penguins game last night. We need to get to the bottom of why the Red Wings are so bad defensively and we need a solution

  3. I am glad they didn’t trade with Edmonton for lekky, they just don’t have the prospect caliber that avs do, most of Edmonton isn’t appealing ngl

  4. It's a good trade. Colorado need to win though because 5 years from now the balance of that trade will shift heavily in Montreal favor.

Yesterday Barron showed nice things. I understand why Crosby only had nice things to say about him. He's inexperienced at the NHL level and didn't have time to build chemistry with his new teammates but his potential is hard to miss. He looked extremely smart on the ice and he got skills to go along his hockey IQ. Give him some time to get comfortable he's definitely going to be a solid top 4 for us.

  5. I would've loved having lehkonen on the oilers personally. But, at that pricetag it just isn't justifiable. A 2nd and a good prospect for a 3rd line forward just isn't good value at all in my opinion.

  6. I think the Avs were so willing to trade away Barron because they already have a young Makar, Byram and Girard. Towes will be getting a big raise in a couple years. There won't be any space for him in the top 4

  7. I don’t think the Oilers could’ve given a better prospect than Barron. Barron is really good. And I think all Habs fans saw that yesterday. I really like how offensive he is. And on top of a top 4 future defenseman, the Habs also got a 2nd.

  8. Colorado killed this trade, i don’t know how in the world Sakic pulled this one off. A solid prospect and a 2nd for an analytic STUD, who advanced stats wise was montreals 2nd best 2 way player, just under Gallagher by an eyelash away from being number 1. Just because montreal played him on the 3rd line that doesn’t mean it’s a .. oh he’s just a 3rd line player? Meh 😂😂. Only prop,e who don’t follow hockey that closely say things like that. Analytically he’s more highly thought of than MANY some may call stars right now. Lehky numbers are a phenomenal 2 way player, who is judt now entering his prime, on a stacked roster, with team restricted control. Sakic hit a grand slam. Didn’t have to trade his best prospect or 1st round pick to get a young analytical BEASTwho other teams wanted, at a decently cheap price. When you consider what guys like f’n chariot got in return, This was the best value trade at the deadline, if you really understand hockey and it’s advanced stats. Imagine what Lehkonen will do when he’s playing next to all studs, with the most gifted defense talent in the nhl too boot? Sakic got himself a STUD w way guy at a potential discount. Devon Toews was another analytical darling that other gms just don’t think like him, two 2nds for a solid defender at the time. Toews has blossomed into one of the best defenders in the game. Sakic sees things others can’t, before they happen.

  9. The guy who makes these videos clearly overvalues Barron just a tad. I don’t understand it though, he’s ranked 81st on top 100 prospect list, which is good but my goodness some of y’all act like he’s a star or something. Take it from someone who understands this and this particular prospect ALOT, that he’s a good solid sturdy prospect but he’s not gonna be winning any Norris trophy’s anytime soon 😂. A solid maybe 2nd group guy on a slightly weaker team. But he will definitely help you win some games in the future. But let me be clear, he isn’t a star type of talent. If you like good solid stay home defensemen who don’t offer much offensive upside, then you’ll like him. But the thing is, those kind of guys aren’t that hard to find. Now if the Avs traded the 19 year old Swedish phenom Oskar Olausson, I’d be definitely changing my tune. Already ranked in the top 65 prospects at just 19 has produced nearly point per game production in his 1st year playing against men. He could end up being a star. Sakic said in an interview he thought the 1st round picks were more valuable than Barron and Helleson. He wasn’t gonna budge on those or Olausson.

  10. He also doesn’t know the background between crosby and Barron family. Again, ya got to do a little more homework my man lol

  11. Glad they failed…great pickup Avs…IF WE CAN EVER GET THIS WORK VISA CRAP FIXED,SO HE CAN ACTUALLY PLAY! This is friggin ridiculous…I assume he can play next game, since Calgary is in Canada? This has gone way beyond ridiculous though.

We overpaid for sure, but not remotely like TB for Haigel,or Florida for over rated Chirot. And I think Behrans,a dman at Denver University,(Frozen 4 baby)has been so amazing his freshman season. If he hadn't come along so quickly,I doubt the Avs would've felt comfortable trading Barron,& Hellison. But yes, with or without these trades,Avs gotta at least get to Western Conference Finals. As for Edmonton, they just aren't good enough. Kulak, nice player…their defense still blows…& you can't trust their goalies, for different reasons. They don't have to worry about those picks being upped, cuz they have no chance at making the Cup Finals.

  12. Agreed, Holland realized he didnt have the prospects & picks combination to get Lehkonen from Montreal. What he SHOULD have done was to trade a package of a current roster player, prospect and or picks to get an higher end Goalie. Their weakness, kinda like the Leafs, is in goal, not up front.

  13. As with many trades like this, if the Avs capitalize and win the Cup, it's worth it no matter what. If they don't, this trade will hurt in the future more than it already does

  14. I don’t understand the 3rd round argument because the avs have only been a really competitive team for the past two seasons. Yes they made the second round 3 years in a row but in 18-19 they were a bad team with no depth and got lucky no one expected much but people act like they’ve been in the run for the past decade

  15. Mtl just needed to unload some high earning players cause with the crap season habs have had this year…team losing too much money…and yet again have a prospect thats gonna amount to nothing, then who will get traded to a much better team and then will become something.
