Jonathan Bernier | Welcome to Toronto | [HD]

The LA Kings’ 11th overall draft pick in 2006, Jonathan Bernier, is one of the most promising number-two goaltenders in the NHL. He will breakout into a number-one star, however, it doesn’t look like LA will be the team he stars for, already looking solid with Jon Quick. Where does he go? Please comment on where you think Bernie’s future lies 🙂

  1. no way, thats awesome! ya should show this to him! ahaha jk, its not a very good video anyways

  2. Haha. I kinda of hope he gets traded to Tampa. The last 2 years when the Kings come to Boston I get locker room passes and get to go out back to see him after. Met Kopitar, Brown, Richards and Quick this year!

  3. Dustin Tokarski might not be a #1 goalie in the NHL Bernier will be. Don't get me wrong Tokarski is a great young goaltender and if he develops inot a number 1 they are going to have to trade one of them.

  4. By my best estimation, about 95% of YouTube channels have shitty music. Your channel falls right in line

  5. Rumor has it the Flyers will buy out Bryz and trade Matt Read to get Bernier. Not a bad idea, but he'll have to compete for the starting job with Steve Mason.

  6. Such a kind person and so deserving of a #1 starter position. I hope wherever he goes, he's the clear #1 starter. He's had such a great attitude the last few years and came up huge for the Kings this year when called upon, even with very limited starts

  7. He thinks it's a stupid trade because he wants Reimer to help the leafs get scored on 6 time per game. I doubt that James will be their number 1 net minder for long.

  8. Unproven backup who hid behind one of the NHL's top defense. Now he still has the pressure to earn playing time and in toronto. And no playoff experience.

  9. People who think Bernier's rebound control need to understand that when Bernier gets into the groove, which he couldn't do as Quick's back up, his rebound controls are just as good as anyone. He'd shown it in the AHL as the #1 and when he finally got more responsibilities in 2013 when Quick was struggling due to back surgery rehab.

Toronto fans are going to have a big grins on their faces by the end of next season knowing Bernier is their #1.

  10. Bernier has much better reflexes and athleticism than Riemer. I appreciate Riemers service to my team, but if the puck doesn't hit his body, Riemer is in trouble. And he spends too much time not knowing where the puck is while down in the butterfly.

  11. Although no longer in the King's organization,Bernie is still my favorite goalie and I wish him the best in Toronto. (By the way. I can not wait to see his new Maple Leafs mask, because his mask's are always amazing.) Good luck, Jonathan.
    • Nice video, good choice of music and beautiful cuts. It's a pleasure to watch. Thanks a lot for this.

  12. Bernier was a no.2 goalie and will stay that way. Reimer will always be the no.1 leading goalie for Toronto

  13. Bernie was a top goalie and will be an awesome no.1 goalie could hold his own in Toronto.

  14. well im responding to this after the first season with bernier. Disappointing leaf season BUT, without a shadow of a doubt, not only is Bernier a Number 1, forget that, thats no contest, I wouldnt be shocked if he were considered number 1 in the league…..hes THAT good. Also wouldnt be shocked to see him for team canada in4 years, i hate the olympics, but i can see him there. His rebounds? perfect, side to side, perfect, glove, blocker, everything, he's magic. Ballsy too charging out after breakaway pucks.
