Oh Frank.
All he can do is report what his sources are telling him, and those sources can change their minds about things over time.
I hope Lindholm stays!
People thought Johnny was a lock to re-sign until he infamously got into his car after one meeting with management.
People can change their minds on a dime and I don’t think the reporting Seravalli did at the time was inaccurate, just reflective of Lindholm’s feelings at the time. What he’s reporting now is not at all contradictory to he surmised earlier.

You realize he reports based off of what he hears, so if the player changes his tune the insider changes his report?
At this point, we should prepare ourselves for the kind of season Buffalo had a couple ago. Sit down with everyone to figure out who wants to be there. Those who don’t can pack their bags and expect a trade. This is getting ridiculous. If you want to be here and if you want to work to win here, than stay. Otherwise, there’s the door.

It does sound like Lindholm’s agent talked some sense into him. The open market has been unforgiving to players betting on themselves this offseason.
Just trade him he obviously doesn’t want to be here. He on the fence because he knows how much money he’s leaving on the table to go somewhere else. I don’t want a guy who’s only signing for money.
If they did roll out all they can and Lindholm is purely unsure then based on Conroy’s one statement of we only want people passionate to play here why are they still fishing in the same pond?
I say this saying I still hope that he does resign and I don’t think we should rush him. If I were him and I heard the same story, year after year of this or that will be different, it’ll be better I’d be like yo chill let me actually see how this plays out for a couple months.
