Scott Walker vs Michel Petit Rd 3 & Sean Gagnon vs Steve Staios / Keith Tkachuk vs Bert Robertsson
Scott Walker ( Vancouver Canucks ) vs Michel Petit ( Phoenix Coyotes ) & Sean Gagnon vs Steve Staios / Keith Tkachuk vs Bert Robertsson / Dallas Drake arguing with Donald Brashear – NHL hockey fight Jan 26, 1998
Thats after Petit got retribution on Walker and cleaned his clock! Always liked Michel Petit,an nhl journeyman who wasn’t afraid of anyone (did well against Probert too)
LOL Sean Gagnon, supposed to be this minor league heavyweight. His 3 NHL fights consisted of Steve Staios, Kris King and Ken Baumgartner. Not exactly the best fight card.
Something else. I was at that game with my daughter, 11th row behind the Vancouver net in the right corner. Cant believe this came through my feed! Haha!
Petit and Walker had quite a rivalry. Heard originally he cheapshotted Walker in round 1 & of course we all saw him sucker and pound away on Walker who was being tied up in round 2. I'd say Scotty got his revenge here breaking Petit's nose and adding some ground shots for good measure. Walker was feisty and fearless, extremely underrated.

Always fascinates me watching these older games how a referee would try to subdue one player while a brawl was happening twenty feet behind his back.
I wish they had thrown Messier off the Canucks for this.
Linesmen causing more trouble and ill-will as usual.
Look how tough the canucks used to be… which line would stand up for pettersson and Hughes today?
