I agree, Eichel isn't McDavid, but fundamentally at the end of the day success is measured in championships. All other sports GOATS are measured in their championship wins. (NFL Tom Brady is the GOAT, Aaron Rodgers simply isn't, no argument, period. End of story). Eichel is excellent at being selfless, this especially shown in the final 2 series, and playing the game necessary to get his team the W. This is not as much an indication of Eichel and more of a reflection on McDavid; Can McDavid ultimately lead his team to championship wins? Let's look 10 years down the road: if Eichel can help his team get the cup multiple times, and McDavid still doesn't have a cup… I'll have my answer as to who's better.
Eichel is the more complete player. McDavid is only good at skating through five guys.

As an individual player it's McDavid. But that's 100% irrelevant now. McDavid will end his career with all these amazing stats and records. I promise you if he retires without a cup there will be a giant void in him because he didn't win the cup. Eichel won't retire with a cup and think to himself "man I wish I had that assist record." I bet McDavid would have sacrificed 50%+ of all those points this year for the stanley cup because what does it matter that he got 100+ points this year when he was bounced from the playoffs by Eichels team?
They thrive in different situations…McDavid took a serious step back in playoff 5v5 point production and wasn’t great on D…………but
He is always a real threat that needs to be covered and despite what haters think, powerplay points do in fact count and if it was so easy to get them why didn’t everyone?
The dunking on McDavid is just silly, it’s hard to win in the NHL and just because he isn’t a pure 200ft 5v5 guy in the playoffs doesn’t mean he isn’t the offensive talent of his generation and undisputed guy who stepped into Crosby’s old role as the face of the NHL.

Honestly, the more and more I start looking at it..I do not think you can compare the two. Jack may not be the numbers "production" artist that Mac is but he is for sure a better 2 way player than Mac is. Jack's defensive awareness and his effortless skating movements are deceiving. Really, these two are seemingly polar opposites the more the two are examined
I think Eichel is better rounded then McDavid but McDavid is an absolute monster on offense. They are both great players and i hope they both end up seeing more then one cup in there careers.
As a Knights fan, that is a horrific take. McDavid blows Eichel out of the water. I laughed out loud reading the video title. Not a knock on Eichel, McDavid is just freakish.
Skill wise m David is much better. Richer is on a more complete team.

You could score 300 points in an NHL season, but that doesn’t matter it’s all about the Stanley cups baby(I’m not saying jack is better than mcdaddy I’m just saying nobody cares about the regular season it’s all about the cups)
OIlers lacked depth scoring, which leaves McDavid to do way more to win. If he were on the Golden Knights, his numbers would drop,
because there are more players who can score and create offense.
But Eichel has a cup so that makes him better
