Idk how people think Maroon should have went. You could have called Reaves for 3 different penalties in the matter of 10 seconds. Minor cross check, minor roughing and possibly hooking. Depending how you look at how Reaves was controlling his stick and if Maroon was holding his stick to force a hook. But Maroon literally didn’t do anything to get sent to the box besides a little rough back to defend an aggressor. Maybe I’m tweaking and someone with better NHL ruling can set me straight. I just personally don’t see it. But if you want my honest answer. Neither of them should have went to the box. They should have let them drop the gloves, but it’s just typical playoff hockey.
