I'll be hoping it's an 8yr × 10+ mill for Dahlin. If they gave it, Jackie. Dahlin definitely deserves it & gets it. I'm so hoping it's at LEAST 8 YRS. Anything shorter will cost us more & shows me his commitment to us.
I could see Dahlin at between 9 and 10.. and anything more than that.. I hope is with someone else… He’s good.. but we can live without someone whose only worried about themselves. (See Jack Eichel)… Power is just coming off an ELC and he won’t even be eligible for an offersheet this time around… I can see him in the 3-4 million over 3 year range as he develops into the guy that can command much more (where Dahlin is now)… We’ll just have to see..

I really hope he will get in the 9.75-10.25 aav for 6-8 years, reason i say 6 i feel that lets him be able to maybe cash in another long term deal at 29 years old, and maybe in exchange that lets the sabres sign him for less to help build this dynasty who knows, this is a guy you need to lock up though, so it would be worth it to pay to get the eight years. Defenseman like dahlin don't grow on trees, a d-man who can score almost a ppg since being in the league and is only 23, he really is a cornerstone any team would die to have on in their organization
