Ya, this is BS. Juniors are already playing exhibition.
First two weeks of Sept. should be camp. Second two weeks of Sept. is exhibition games.
Drop the puck on the regular season OCTOBER 1.
This gets us 10 days shorter in June = Win.
This gets us players in the first round available for the Worlds = Win.
This gives scouts and teams 10 more days to evaluate draft prospects = Win.
This gets us two weeks ahead of the NBA finals. = Win.
Can't think of one negative.

JT Miller is definitely the leader in Vancouver.
I think Pettersson realizes this, and is a bit bent out of shape about it. Like Pettersson or not, he seems to have a bad attitude overall, and is definitely not Captain material.
If I was GM, I tell Pettersson this is a make or break season for him to prove whether or not he can lead the team to the playoffs and make some noise. If he fails we may need to look at dealing you to another team he'you'll fit in with better.
The Hockey Guy has a high opinion of Blueger, fair enough. It's a step in right direction at least 👍
We tried having glue guys on the team before, remember Beagle and those guys? Stanley Cup winners? They don't help.
