The New Jack/Vic Grimes scoffold fall at Living Dangerously is another incident that comes to mind when thinking of crazy stuff that happened where surprisingly no one died.
Hate when said chap
Non-oxygenated blood isn't blue tho? It's just a darker red
What happened to Shane to cause the stinger in this match?
I remember an interview with Shane Douglas talking about a backstage fight with Sandman where he pie-faced him into a glass trophy case. He said it was over getting caned in the back of the neck, so now I'm wondering if this was the incident he was talking about.
Which show did this happen on?
It's a DVD extra on one of the Pioneer Entertainment ECW DVDs…its funny, the crowd doesn't yell YOU FUCKED UP, they just go OOOOOHHHHHHHHH!!!
As a big an ECW fan that i am , im SO surprised ive NEVER heard anything about this one ! Thats ECW for ya , almost 25 years after they closed im still hearing wild stuff !!!! LOL !!!
This dude has his own YT channel called Chef Kareem Horton. He still lives in the Philly area, and used to train people to become pro wrestlers. His channel is fairly new, but it's active. It's about being a chef, nothing about wrestling…
Was it worse than Sid?
Anyone know where to find the clip I’ve searched yt high n low
I remember this moment (unfortunately). Saw it again about 10 or so years ago when someone posted it in a wrestling group I used to be in on facebook. Injuries like that are hard for me to look at especially after Sid's leg break which to this day I can't watch again.
There was an interview on here with Kareem (the guy who’s leg broke) with Wrestlebotch talking about the injury. I don’t know what happened to that channel or the interview
Anyone got a link?
Worked a show with a promotion called Lone Star Wrestling Federation back around 2002-2001. Had a guy around 300lbs maybe more that attempted to do a dive off the ring apron onto his opponent on the floor. I was in the back and heard what sounded like a gun shot at ring side and people screaming. Dude broke his leg and the bone was sticking out of the skin about 6 inches or so. His opponent had a broke arm from when they both hit the floor and it was just a complete total cluster fuck. Had several of the fans in the front row got sick from the sight of this guys bone sticking out and blood. It was the second match into the card and the promoter just said fuck it and refunded everyone their money and canceled the show. That was probably the worst injury I had seen in my tenure of wrestling.
I wonder how much blood Mass Transit lost? Imagine being the ER doctor for any of this events.
Wait ECW had a Doctor?
I alway thought this was one of the Headhunters.
Yeah Shane Douglas isn't sugar coating about crazy shit happening in ECW. You Had the Mass Transit incident of 1996 which wasn't just crazy it was insane. On top him saying it is amazing that nobody died in ECW ring yeah that to me is impressive that no one died with all the crazy shit that ECW did.
ECW was awful.
I work for Kareem Horton now at a chef position at a swim club that he decided to rent for the summer
