Well, considering we got Matheson, DeSmith, Lindstrom, and draft picks for Petry, I'd say that's a win in any GM's books.
Also, he got rid of Hoffman in a salary dump, which no team would take that contract, so again, I don't see how this is a loss?
Condition is worse of 4th rounders they currently have (their own or Boston's). Do your homework!

Come on dude. It takes 1 second to look at what condition (yeah, one condition) is behind the 4th pick : Habs gets the worst of the 2 4th pick they have in 2025 (theirs or Boston's…). We knew that immediately…
At least Lindstrom is 6-2.Dont think he is better than we have as he is not physical
Lindstrom is a throw in, he is an actual horrible d-man. When the Wings didnt have a d-man for the roster, Lindstrom had a hard time beating out Haag. He is a 7th dman who probably shouldnt of been signed this year. He gives the puck up a lot, and isnt physical at all. I would say you traded for a 4th rd pick and an AHL player at best.
