These days, if Stevens made the same hit he'd be suspended for upwards of 5 games and rightfully so. Though I doubt the hit would even be a consideration with suspension being a big deterrent. Can't lose your captain in such a crucial time in the Cup finals. Glad the rules have changed so we don't see stars like Lindros and Kariya shorten their career over scummy predatory hits like these from Stevens and others like him.
