  1. heard him say that he doesnt remember the hit, getting up or returning to score the goal

  2. I love the look on stephens at 1:22 he just seems to think “I fucking killed that guy, there’s no fucking way he’s back, FUCK”

  3. Still disgusting. That rat ended a great player´s career and I am sure his karma stacked up.

  4. Such a different time now. Saying "Kariya knows not to cut across the middle when Stevens is on the ice" is the definition of victim-blaming. But that's how hockey was back then. If you don't keep your head up and on a swivel, another guy can basically ruin your life.

  5. stevens always went after the skilled guys who werent fighters, always ran from domi and other tough guys.

  6. Seeing this now for the first time. To come back into a game after being shaken up like that is one thing. To skate that fast up the wing and score a goal at that angle is amazing

  7. could not understand why no one just hit Stevens like he gave out, none of his hits where hockey plays

  8. I remember the Steven’s blast but not the game come back & big-time answer of’a G!!!! Dang Pauly K.

  9. These days, if Stevens made the same hit he'd be suspended for upwards of 5 games and rightfully so. Though I doubt the hit would even be a consideration with suspension being a big deterrent. Can't lose your captain in such a crucial time in the Cup finals. Glad the rules have changed so we don't see stars like Lindros and Kariya shorten their career over scummy predatory hits like these from Stevens and others like him.
