Boston Bruins 2019-20 Roster Preview

The new NHL season is finally here and the Boston Bruins have their roster set for opening night. They send defenseman Jakub Zboril down to the Providence Bruins of the AHL so that they can meet the roster requirements. In this video I talk about what the lines will look like this season and what I expect from each player and the team this year. I talk about long time vets like Zdeno Chara and Patrice Bergeron. I talk about the young guns like Charlie McAvoy and Brandon Carlo. I also talk about the new guys like Brett Ritchie and Par Lindholm. Lastly I talk about players I think are in for big seasons like Charlie Coyle, Brad Marchand, Jake DeBrusk, and David Pastrnak. The Bruins have added a lot of depth and are looking like they are ready for another run at the Stanley Cup and with Coach Bruce Cassidy leading the way they should have no problem getting there again.

  1. Karlsson kuhlman on second line should scare the crap out of the league. What a joke. Should have been bjork or try seny for once.

  2. The Bruins won't be true Stanley Cup contenders until they add some genuine offence to the second line even if it means giving up a defenceman and a prospect to get one… based on what cash they can come up with to make a trade of course. First line best in the league and fourth line solid defensively.
Other than that, can't wait for the season to start. Go Bruins!

  3. Bergy has had injuries every year, because each and every game he gives it his all. He leaves everything on the ice. He amazes me.

  4. Backes and Ritchie are redundant players, when everyone's healthy I think only one of them will play. I think Nordstrom gets underrated, he'll be one of the main PK forwards when he's back and should be a lock to get his spot back. When everyone's healthy, I think it will be:

    Marchand-Bergeron-Pastrnak
    DeBrusk-Krejci-Kuhlman
    Heinen-Coyle-Backes/Ritchie
    Nordstrom-Kuraly-Wagner
