  1. It doesn’t mean much, but it’s fun to read through.

Tl;dr: Some dude just loaded rosters in a game and wrote an article about what happened when they played each other.

  3. We’re missing Chris Tanev, the perfect partner for Huggy Bear.

Think of how sad it is that our high-water-mark over the last 10 years is the bubble team!

Cool, my Canucks won the cup in NHL 23. Maybe I should write an article about it.

Still not much for a blueline without Tanev.

  7. SuperSwaiyen

Nothing better than a writer acknowledging that the basis of their article (the simulator and results) “doesn’t mean much”.

I guess it was fun but this article is more of a website tool feature than anything truly Canucks related.

It’s sad that the team from the bubble is the high water mark for the Canucks in the last ten years.

I kind of write that year off. It was too weird.

Dont say the words bubble team ever again!

On paper it’s a worse roster.

    Winger depth is improved from:

Pearson, Boeser, Miller, Virtanen, Leivo, and Eriksson in our top 9 to

Kuzmenko, Garland, Beauvillier, Boeser, Podkolzin, and Hoglander

Center depth is worse at the top with the loss of Horvat, but better in the bottom with Suter and Blueger replacing Gaudette and Beagle.

Defense is slightly worse. Hughes has gotten better, Myers has gotten worse, Tanev is a better than Hronek, Edler is better than Cole.

Goaltending is another major downgrade going from Markstrom/Demko to Demko/Martin
