  1. The player who seems like he hates losing is Nathan MacKinnon. He's always surly when they get bounced out of the playoffs.

  2. Keefe has to learn how to use his players and roll 4 lines, still.

  3. I don't think the Canucks are a bad team. Every start of the season NOBODY IS PLAYING TO POTENTIAL LOLLYGAGGING! 100 PERCENT START TO FINISH! I think they make the PLAYOFFS?

  4. Great content as always! It’s about facts and content not flash. I don’t know understand why a coach can’t work with 1 year left on his contract. A prove it year may be necessary as opposed to simply extending him just to prevent lame duck status.

  5. In my opinion for the Canucks as long as he resigns long term the captain should be Petterson or if not then Hughes. Miller for me wouldn’t even be an Alternate. He’s too much of a liability defensively and also because of his mouth I’m not sure he sets a good example for the rest of the team.

  6. I was really surprised to hear the Canucks don't have a dedicated practice facility, I thought every team had one.

  7. I'm a little biased towards Keefe since he played for my Bramalea Blues in the 1990's, lol. I think he's a great coach and deserves another two years behind the Leafs bench.

  8. 1. Keefe is on the hot seat. The extension just removes the contract distraction element for the season
    2. Dubas playing collect-a-player as usual. Hajek might be a good 6/7D option 'on the cheap'
    3. R Suter = 48 games / Jordie B = 24 games?!
    4. How do VAN not have a practice facility?! This explains a lot! Where can Petey ride his unicycle?

  9. 10. Yeah Canucks seem to be in such a rut that the players don't even care. The curse and laziness in Vancouver needs to be thrown out with the bathwater!
I'm an Oiler fan but I live in BC and cheering for Vancouver is very toxic with this group!
Actually show some heart and pride Canucks! Stop acting as a doormat for other teams and earn your right to be in the NHL!
Sorry just frustrated seeing such a once decent team, be day dreaming of even making it to the playoffs!

  11. No idea why they extended Keefe – should have had him prove himself. I think he will have to go either way.
Actually I do know why: Shannaplan isn't playoff success – it is just keep the boys together to sell tickets. We saw that with their intention of no changes ever regardless of lack of results.

  12. Rinse. Wash. Repeat. This team is hell-bent on doing all things to garner the same results.

  13. Get rid of DeBrusk and Ullmark while their value is still high, they'll be trying to give them away at the deadline. If we have to rebuild let's get some cap space back.

  14. In regards to the Canucks practice facility issue: the Wings have their practice facility underneath the ice in Little Caesars arena. I remember last year a player was injured during a game and they were skating on the practice ice during intermission deciding if they could come back into the game or not. Pretty cool concept.

  15. After missing all of last season in Detroit with Achilles injuries, I hope Pysyk catches on with Pittsburgh

  16. So the issue with Toronto the past six years hasn't been performance on the ice, hasn't been scheme, hasn't been coaching. The "problems" were with the Gm. Ok then.
