I hope that Ganger can play well enough to earn a spot on the 4th line. Great leader who could really help mentor the younger players.
Gagner 11 points his first game, mark my words
Completely uninterested in a PWHL.
Low-key feels like Gagner has been in the league for 25+ seasons.
OUT OF CONTROL
Cory Conacher, the pride of Canisius College here in Buffalo, NY. Played briefly with the Sabres. How many teams will this now make?
Already a Minnesota fan!!
Is Adam Sandler trying out for the Bruins?
good luck Sam
Is very excited about the PWNHL
I drive coach for the company that has the contract for the Boston Pride team
Should be a great year for our team !
Jimmy D from Boston
I'd actually argue Kiviranta had a down year two years ago, and slightly rebounded this past season.
Guy was pretty solid in the playoffs, and his goals for was a pretty nice bounce back after more of a background role in 21-22.
If he doesn't make the Avs, I'd think it to be more of a chemistry thing 🤷
Unpopular opinion?
Gagner's best fit was in Columbus, and I'm still bummed he only lasted one season there.
Guy just clicked so well, but the Blue Jackets lost in the first round (at that time, it was 'again'), so I understand wanting to switch things up.
It's just a shame, as I feel like he's never really been given the chance to develop chemistry or consistency.
I remember I thought Conacher was gonna be legit in like 2012 or 2013. Not quite lol.
For some reason, I was thinking about Conacher the other day and was wondering whether he was still playing
Well, been waiting for a while to find out which team I was picking, I realllly wanna watch the PWHL, but my gawd I think I'm gonna struggle to support when the closest team to the Avs… Is Minnesota…
I may have to swap to Canada for this until hopefully Colorado gets a team.
"Veteran players, you can send them to the wolves" Sounds a bit brutal, but I suppose it would limit the amount of buyouts for teams.
Keeping thumbs up for Kiviranta to make the team!
Its going to take Kiviranta helping us win a cup for me to forgive him haha
Gagner was my favourite player during the decade of darkness. I hope he makes it and gets to play with a great Oilers team, and finally get to play in the playoffs with them.
Would you post more in the future?👀
This is the funniest possible place for Kivi to potentially sign.
Really hope they keep the original team names in the PWHL.
I'd love to see some PWHL teams in the west someday. For now I guess I'll be rooting for Montreal!
Loved JD in AZ. Hope he enjoys retirement!
Conacher is such an up and down story.
Excited to see the PWHL league start back up with this new look.
Excited about the PWHL! Hopefully they bring a team to Vancouver one day, but until that day I will be rooting for whichever team signs MPP😅
Kiviranta is a double agent in Colorado.
It's absolutely moronic that women sports leagues pick major cities with a TON of entertainment competition. You're trying to build something and draw money so that in turn these ladies can get a proper paycheck. Go to a smaller town in the suburbs.
Kiviranta is ok as a depth guy.
Hopefully the womens league can gain some traction. Womens hockey isn’t unwatchable like people claim it is. Just wish they would add hitting.
It will definitely take some years though, NHL was around for decades before they expanded from 6
I really would like to see women's hockey thrive professionally. Yes, they have to start small and not fall victim to overzealous expansion. My concern is in coverage and marketing. The NHL itself has had issues with broadcasting on local and national level in the States. I've had trouble catching games that I wanted to see. If the NHL has these problems, how can we expect women's hockey to get a fair shake?
lol Kiviranta's PTO should just be him forced to rewatch game 7 in a dark room with the entire Avs roster present.
Surprised Kiviranta hasn't found a home yet.
I've always been a fan of womens hockey I'm even more excited to a women's hockey team in my city of Ottawa.
really hope the PWHL can strive
Love seeing the honey badger Cory Conacher still kicking around and getting another shot at the NHL. One of my all time favorite players
I'm very glad to see that Ottawa is part of the original six in the PWHL. You have a pretty good rivalries there with Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto
Mark Pysyk and Libor Hayek both signed a PTO with the Pens
