An analytics guy? Melnyk is kicking and screaming from his grave.
It’s very clear why Brady, Tim and the rest of the DJ praisers don’t want him to leave, it’s because they run DJ by the nose and DJ sucks up to them. The coach needs to be the boss and command the players which is far from what DJ does. That scenery will bring loses and we will see it again at the beginning of the season.
TSN has been riding with the Sens (also said we had the best offseason of the Canadian teams)
This is a bit of a deeper level comment so I can see why a media trained player wouldn't say this but, I would really love to hear Brady say, "We love DJ and myself and a lot of players on the team wouldn't be what we are without him, AND we know it's just as much on us to keep DJ around as it is on him. You are going to see a different team in October and we're going to show you how much we love our coach by fighting tooth and nail for him."
Healthy, steady goaltending will be key for the Sens making the playoffs this year. Forsy being 100% is a very good sign
I’d kill for a prime Anderson/condon duo again
