I agree, believe he will be better defensively, I’d go as far as saying a nice but better defensively, he honestly reminds me a bit of Brodin, very smooth skating and hard to play against in his own zone, if they end up playing Faber-Brodin i would love that, doubt you’ll see much explosive offence but they sure as hell will be misery to play against when trying to generate offence
Dumba scored 14 points last season. $6M cap hit. If Faber can't score 15 points I am giving my eyes to Stevie Wonder.
I agree, don’t downplay Dumba’s minutes, grit etc. Faber will be much steadier on the backend – less physical but I will not miss the dumb penalties that 24 was known for. I could see down the road Faber as Brodin X2 which any team would love to have on their rosters. Long term, the Kings trade is going to viewed differently if Yulov and Faber continue their projected paths.
I have zero doubts about Faber.
