If I was you I would have chosen Matthew Beniers just because when Eichel leaves I would have a young center to replace Eichel.
Owen said he may want to go to school for 2 years first, but is open to going to the nhl right away. That sounds like he didn’t want Buffalo to select him
I think this is a good time to get picked by the Sabres. I think the re-rebuild will work.
