It’s waaaaay past time to retire this song. YMMDCT is way too happy and fun. Do you get intimidated by this song? That’s right no one does. New team new identity new song. Something with grit. Think rock guitars and big heavy beats and an ugly singer, not keyboards and pretty boy Darryl. Darryl’s a great singer but he’s not going to punch you in the face. AC/DC will.

I’m so ready for a new song. Nothing even against the current one, just feels like time to turn a new page. 5 or 6 or 7 (?) years with the same song feels like an eternity. Something a bit less goofy would be nice.

It wasn’t a goal song but they used to play “Heave Away” by The Fables after home wins for a couple years during the Kessel era…awesome song that I hoped would catch on with the culture but just didn’t
