This is a step in the right direction.
Dadonov will not be playing for the Habs. Trade bait, maybe even at the draft. Could be a sweetner in a trade to try to move up in the draft.
I think Dadanov will be a good player for us, i dont know if he will be a part of our long term future
Not sure if Dadonov will play here. He is an exciting player who might thrive in a big market, but might just not be what we are looking for now or worth the risk. When do you think we name a new captain? Do you think it's coming soon, or do they give it another year. Will greatly miss Weber in the CH but we all knew his run last year was the last ride. He gave so much for our organization, one of the best in recent memory.
This is a none event. Shea is gone and so is contract. Dadonov is trade bait at best. One year keft. Not a bad deal really.
Good. Getting rid of Weber's contract. Next, Price + 2 young sweeteners, whatever,. Free up more cap space. Is Price officially finished – 2 years removed from a monster finals performance. If so, dump his obnoxious contract.

Would you move drouin or dadonov first ? there is other trades coming in mtl with draft and free agency coming close. Bergeron and Letang are coming to mtl with Perry salary next season hahah 😂. just kidding….i know you want habs to draft top 5 next season again but don't you think Caufield and Suzuki need help for their development next season? this move reminds me Erik Cole with Desharnais and Patch. I see a trade at the deadline and retain dadonov salary to have the biggest return possible for him for cup contenders. 20 teams of 32 are tight up with the cap and its just going up in 2024 or 25. With his salary and his age, who would have interest to trade for him at this point? I don't think he moves soon. habs won't win much more games with him. But, at least, they can see if chemestry is possible with Dadonov style of play, make it entertaining and rise up trade value all at the same time.And Weber contract is gone. Can't see any negative in this trade.
if Dadonov does play he will be used to get picks at the trade deadline unless used to move up in the draft..it will be one or the other..
If Vegas wins the Stanley Cup, does Weber get a Stanley cup ring ?????
