If they've gotten to this point in the summer and they haven't been moved, it likely isn't happening or at least not until the trade deadline. Management still holding out hope these guys change their mind and want to re-sign here it seems..
To be honest, I am scared that Cheveldayoff decided to keep them and than lose them for nothing only because of missplaced ego… if I am not mistaken, I think it is the last two year of his contract as a GM. Am I wrong? If not, he is probably not ready for a rebuild type of future and he want to win now or next year…
