No loss at all there
Hab fans really over hyped this player. Folks forget that he went undrafted in his first year of eligibility. Not everyone can play in the NHL. He may ultimately develop a few years down the road.

Nordlinder was a top prospect by default when we had a mid prospect pool. At the end of the day must 3th rounder do not reach the Nhl.
Imagine we were waiting for Norlinder and Mysak to develop. It wasn't that long ago those were some of are top like prospects

Hummmm, don't know what people see in J.S. – Big but plays small, not fast, no stick handling, no sense of anticipation that stands out….I wish people would tell me what the heck they see in him. Lane Hudson….WoW! That's a tallent right up there with modern hockey that we see, nowadays.
Slkavkosky still need to show he can adapt to the smaller north American ice surfaces. has not yet showed that but hey he is only 19 years old. We soon will see how Slavkosky will do this season. I am confident he will.

True story I got to watch Mike Keane in the AHL several times I was baffled as to how he was not on the habs and the same for Skrudland.Neither guy was a big scorer but i could already see how good they were "their skills" and skating and smarts.
People need to look at the players as a NON fanbois then you will see the players like everyone else does.A fact is that so far EVERY single praise of Hutson has been offensively he still has to play defense…or not?

I'm thinking the same week be the case with Joshua Roy and Riley kidney. I don't think we have as deep a prospect pool for forwards that people think. We really need to getting better.

Hes not the first european dman that couldnt cut NA ice. And wont be the last. I still remember top prospect magnus nygren.. came over after years of waiting for him. Played a hand full of games in the ahl they loved him called him the next big thing then his brother got robbed in burlington and the next season he bailed on the habs and nhl and returned home saying that the nhl ahl and canadiens organization did nothing to protect them.
This is a great example of why fans should always curb their expectations about most prospects. Speaking about anyone with the utmost certainty and insulting other fans for not agreeing is a huge issue with this fan base.
Hutson will be a stud in the right conditions. Reinbacher will be what he will be, anywhere. This is why Both Reinbacher and Mailloux have a higher NHL probability.
Red flags with Norlinder started in 20 or 21 when he decided to stay in Sweden and not play in the AHL. Maybe it was a mistake? You draft Euros to play like Backstrom or package in a trade.
Roy will never be an nhl player, they should trade him now before its obvious
This is such an interesting topic.. Hudson and Roy.. tough to know how well they will integrate the NHL. Hudson will evidently find it way more difficult to mesmerize his opponents in the NHL.. but maybe he will.. hard to predict. Roy also is difficult to predict. He seems slow sometimes, he's not like Mesar buzzing around or like Cooley doing flashy movea.. but at the same time, he manages to put up the numbers consistently and at the world Juniors I remember Connor Bedard saying he was one of the best players he ever played with. So he is definitely doing something right. I think he has a talent for slowing down the game and has a great instinct. He seems able to make sense of the chaos going on on the ice.. One player I think is too often underestimated is Mailloux. I can definitely see in him a future stud with grit, speed and a dangerous slap shot. He is the kind of guy we will want in our team. He looks like an NHL player already.
Edit: Stop the presses. I just looked at the Joshua Roy reel. This guy understands the game SO WELL. He scores never twice the same way, he adapts constantly to the situation and makes the best of everything that's going on around him. He is so intelligent! Wow.. I think he's going to make it in the NHL .. heck he looks like young Joe Sakic out there.
I don’t understand why habs fans are surprised 😂 I always knew Norlinder wouldn’t be what fans thought he would be, He’s a decent player but not even close to what he was hyped up to be…. I swear my fellow Habs fans are always hyping up the wrong prospects in our system 🤦🏼♂️😂
Fascinating. Norlinder being called 'Nor-Lidstrom' just two years ago should be a hint to maybe stop comparing Hutson with Makar. Enough already. Let's wait and see once he's…oh, I dunno…played a game in the NHL!?!?!
