Lmao😂
This was totally an accident and unfortunate…
Man, I always hate seeing stuff like this. To all pitchers, have a safe season.
Played shortstop, so never was in harm’s way quite like y’all are.
Looked like Curly from the 3 stooges on the ground
Had he been wearing the glove on his head….that would have been a Maddux level play
He got shocked, I know I would get scared and shocked, so I understand . . .
hu
pitchers need helmets
Quite entertaining to watch
that's super scary
Man, that’s the worst line drive to the head I’ve ever seen. He was beyond dazed and confused. Goof grief.
Thank God, he is okay.
Hi praise to the Pittsburgh crowd – that was classy.
poor guy damnn
That was a lot of respect shown on that field 👍
Ow thats scary😮
LOLLLLLLLLLLLLL HAHAHAHAHA omg that's funny this society is so damn sorry like toughen up, it's a sport it happens, men are pansies today for real
Hats off to that show of support Pittsburgh. Seriously- so very respectable of you all to show that.
I was trying my hand at pitching for the first time in little league when a comebacker hit me right in my side just under the ribs. The way the breath was driven out of my body is a feeling ill never forget. I was sucking air into my mouth but felt like I couldnt breathe for 10 minutes after that.
Thats when I decided to stick with shortstop lol
Ive seen replays of this a lot over the years man… its still prolly the scariest hit ive ever seen. I am glad hes doing good in life, this could have been a serious career ending or even a serious life altering injury. Hope the MLB keeps innovating new tech for the players even though stuff like this can never be fully prevented ideally better innovation will help to mitigate damage if something like this were to happen again.
Poor guy didn't know what planet he was on there for a few minutes. I fell backwards while ice skating and was wearing a helmet. The pain was terrible and I thought my eyeballs had exploded out the front of my face. I can't imagine how he felt. I hope there were no lingering effects for him.
A 101 mph ball to the head will most likely end up with a concussion
Ugh that happened like 8 years ago and is still hard to watch.
Should have called an ambulance. Glad to hear he recovered!
When you wake up to get something from the fridge
🙏❤️
Very serious stuff. Could get a blood clot n bleeding of the brain and disorientation.
Been there. Bucked off a horse, came down and back of head hit a good sized rock. Amnesia for the whole day……but real amnesia is strange.
Why aren't they wearing head guards? Seems silly if they dont
The lights were on but no one was home. So damn scary…
I have epilepsy, and when I noticed him staring blankly, he could have been experiencing a petite mal seizure in that moment. I’m thankful that he didn’t have a grand mal seizure after that hit. Those are terrifying when you wake up after having one.
However, I’m not a neurologist, so I could be wrong.
Why don’t they wear the protective helmets
It's so hard to watch.
That made me cry I felt that confusion he had his brain was gone
I was actually at that game it was crazy
Brain damage for life
