I'm happy for Petry. He wanted to move to a team closer to where he was from last year. Pittsburgh didn't work. Kent did him a solid by sending him to Detroit where he's from.

I like the deal i knew we couldn’t get much in return but i like the potential of lindstrom at best a 4th dman but honestly gonna be a 5th or 6th dman
anything is good considering the fact at how Kent Hughes freed up 2 roster spots and salary for our upcoming superstar prospects . This trade is nothing but bonus , it deepens our depth chart on defence and it totally solidifies the back end and who knows maybe we flip this pick too if he shines as a Canadien .

I expected Petry being moved fast, they got rid of him retaining 50% for a bust RD in Lindstrom but got rid of Hoffman. Newhook's ceiling is 3rd liner, drafted a RD with bad knees 5th, passed on Leonard. Hughes gets an F-. Bobrov is an idiot.

Lindstrom was drafted 38 overall in 2017, so they got a second round prospect and a 4th round pick. Future assets for future trades perhaps and all for nothing! We got rid of Hoffman, Pitlick and got 2 prospects, a 2nd, a 4th, and Desmith! Not bad imo
They are actually paying around 35% of Jeff petry salary because the 50% is on the 4.5mil not on the 6.5mil
Now I'm concerned for you, Habs do not trade that often, you might want to shower a bit more.
The Habs get Nicklas Lindstrom for Petry. I think that Montreal is a winner here.
Hughes made a promise to Petry that he will get him to an American team before the school year starts for his kids. Very classy GM. I think free agent players of the future will give Montreal bonus points for stuff like this.
Basically making room for RHP and get prospects at the same time.

Hey there, I've been following you for a while now and I mostly enjoy your content. I'd liked to give you some constructive criticism. I noticed that you move your head back and forth a lot and hence your mouth moves closer and farther from the mic. This results in the sound going up and down throughout the videocast very unevenly. Fixing this would lead to a better overall experience with improved sound quality. 😊
