If Frank is correct, why would a team like Vancouver want a player like Suter for 3rd line centre? The Canucks need a shut down centre in that position. They have enough defensive problems. If he’s just a 30 point player who isn’t going to help defensively, what good is he on this team? He might be better off on the 4th line. A 3rd line centre priority should be defense.
We may be looking at this Hronek trade wrong at least from the Detroit point of view. what if they didnt want to trade Hronek but they couldn't pass up the 1st rounder in THIS Draft ? and they did indeed get a good prospect at the number 17 spot.
