BTW I am russian myself (fck putin), and Dostal in our language basically means "got one", which is also great for a goalie haha. I can imagine Lucas making a flashy glove save saying "я её достал" (I got it)

Taking the Carolina approach is a good option. Always happy to see a GM take an nhl-proven 3rd goalie as rookie insurance.
Though with people unsure on Dostal, I lowkey hoped Verbeek would give Martin Jones the opportunity to add a 4th Pacific team to his resume.
imho Ducks sign Stalock because need for Goalie Depth…..I had feeling and made vid Ducks bringing in vet backup to make Dostal earn backup role at Ducks Training Camp.
The 2023/24 Ducks team is actually looking alright on paper. Still unlikely they will make the playoffs but I doubt they tank.
There is going to be a point to where gibson has to go and let dostal take over. As the ducks are technically in a rebuild still Gibson's prime would be gone
