That Pesce for Brodie ACGM was mine lol. It was basically a one for one but Carolina gives a 3rd to another team to retain 50% or Pesce’s contract and Leafs give a 2nd to another team to retain 50% of Brodie’s contract. Both teams save cap, Carolina gets the better dman, but otherwise both pretty much give up a pick to gain cap without changing up their roster as Brodie and Pesce are not so far off as players.

As a leafs fan I love siging Martin Jones he is a good goalie I hope that we trade Willy for a good defensive player

Yeah, I don’t think Zadorov is an upgrade on Brodie. Brodie plays teams best all the time and is good at it.
Zadorov brings size and physicality, but is not as good in the defence department as Brodie is.
That said, I’d love to have him on the back end, just not at the cost of arguably the best defencman on the team (as sad as that is) in terms of playing his position goes…
