Can say what you want about all the new Dmen, or holl and Reilly. You’re not going to win an NHL game by scoring a single fucking goal. Sheldon should give everyone the day off today, BUT the core 5 (Matthews, Tavares, Nylander, Marner, Reilly) show them what happens when they don’t show up. What a fucking shit show. Idc about 4 games in 6 nights. If they can’t win a single round this year, this core will never do it, at least not in Toronto. Someone should tell our core when the game starts. The Leafs organization has been one of the worst in sports every year, for over 50 years. The Leaf's players are worshipped as Demi-gods in a city that thinks it is the hockey capital of the world. It isn't and the players have done nothing but lose for 56 years. Leaf fans only know what losing hockey looks like. 2023 will be no different. How do you change 30% of the roster and expect to win. You shouldn't and you won't. One and done is baked into the culture. Karl Bruer anyone?

It's DO or DIE for the "Core Four" of this Leafs team. It doesn't matter that you surround the "Core Four" with "tough fighting marines", they have to find it in themselves to fight like warriors. When the game isn't going their way they seem to wither up like…well Leaves in Autumn.

Sheldon needs to show a little bit more accountability towards his players. Like why is he so scared to call it like it is. Morgan should be watching the next game from the press box period as far as I'm concerned. They played way better defensively and structurally when Morgan was injured. We also Need Auston to start playing like somebody that just won the rocket. That game was 100 percent not Murrays fault. I thought he played phenomenal.
