Love big rig. These expansion drafts are brutal on teams. He’s got to be Miro’s best D partner he’s ever had. Which is crazy bc they were on the 2nd pair.
You can't say that the players today and the game are the best you've ever seen Luke. Remember obstruction penalties? the league is in the process of eliminating fighting and Elliot Friedman is doing a great job selling the idea. In other words, players are only as good as they are today because of the rules that are in effect today. Example: do you think Connor mcdavid would be the same player if players were allowed to hold/ grab /slash like they did in the Gretzky era? Imagine how much 'better' gretzky would have been playing under today's rules !? Or imagine how much worst Gretzky would have been without cement head and fighting…?!
