I like the music selection, it's well edited and dynamic. The choreography is balanced and very Cleopatra appropriate. Deanna's costume looks great on her, it's really professional looking. I like the program presentation it's mature, even theatrical but without being over the top. Great opening Split Twist, good SxS 3Toe/2Toe, nice, strong, clear positions in the lifts, good transitions, generally lots of speed and very good ice coverage. Appreciate the FO Death Spiral position is very difficult, and IMO better executed than in their SA performance, not sure I like the lateral position. A few issues again with the throws today. Nothing they cannot correct. I presume the 2Salchow is a marker for the 3Salchow? Enjoyed today's performance and am looking forward to the continued development of this FS program 👍👏👏

I am 41 and still skate once a week and put myself through as much as I can handle. I can still do all my doubles and I attempt triples. If I could skate more often, I could get back what I once had.
I have never done pairs, and especially for a woman in pairs at our age, I give her full props for her determination and strength.
This sport is not easy on our bodies at all and yes it is perceived as a young person's sport, but many people quit by the time they graduate which feeds into this narrative. There are, however many skaters that skate into their 20s..and some into their 30s.
Regardless it is an unforgiving sport and to see someone skating because she wants to and because she obviously loves it is a beautiful thing. Kudos to her partner as well.. they compliment each other really well and I wish them all the success in the world.
I will definitely be keeping my eyes out for them.
Age is just a number after all 🙃
