Johnny hockey left and he wants to win
Now there's rumors that the Dallas Stars are close on the deal and the trade involves Star players.
American born players don't want to play above the 49th.
JG isn't "weird" he is a worm. Just watch any one of his interviews…little worm of a man.
Saw this video a while back, Johnny and Tkachuk was on the back of a vehicle after the Dallas Calgary series, both were waving at the camera then Johnny flips the bird at the camera. Hits different now.
Don't make the Flames out to be the victims please. And both Gaudreau and the Flames had it coming. Treliving signed that contract in 2015/2016. Subsequently, the 21-22 hockey season was essentially what the Flames were getting in exchange for the trade. Gaudreau had to be traded prior to the 21-22 season, otherwise, all 5 of those other teams knew the entire cards that Treliving held, so those 5 clubs just sat and waited. Is the same thing going to happen to Tkachuk, probably not. He doesn't hold the future of his trades upfront, at least not yet. He can still be a Coyote before the end of the 22-23 season, living on Tempe campus, and eating dorm food.
The gravy train left ( meaning Gaudreau )… so anyone on the Flames team making points off of him will loose value fast. Trade them while they are worth something.
Matthew Tkachuk is obviously a Two faced Snake with the Media
Thanks Gio even if your a canucks fan your at least trying to empathize with us flames fans I appreciate it and you
All this was before the commie Canadian leaders showed their true form PLUS no Johnny hockey no team!! You need to look between the lines.
Maybe he saw that Gaudreau took $1.5mil AAV less with another team and realized that staying in Calgary is his best chance to make top dollar. Calgary can probably offer him the best contract that isn't a complete dumpster fire of a team compared to some
"i'd love to sign"
haha jk
but please can u stay outta the metro, pretty please?
No one wants to play in Canada and I don’t blame them.
Wake up sports fans. It’s still a business, they must sell HOPE, even if it’s false hope, hope to the fans. Players must say what ever this takes
After seeing that Edmonton will be unbeatable by Calgary, I wouldn’t want to play their either in the shadow of mcjesuz
As an Avs fan, I'm only hoping he goes to an Eastern team. It would be nice to not face him in the Central since everyone thinks he will be a Blue.
What happened? Now he knows he won't have Johnny G feeding him,& Calgary isn't gonna be a contender anymore-(not sure they really were anyways with that slow blueline,& over rated forward depth)Even in the way weaker West.
Since he'd prefer to be in America anyways-why stay in Calgary,& MAYBE compete for 8 seed-when he can go to say St Louis-with much better surrounding talent,& probably be on a team close to on par with my Avs. Not exactly rocket science.
Avs still have a WAY BETTER
blueline than St Louis-or any Western team. And if they lose Krugg in Tkchuk trade-then it's a total mismatch. But without Burakovsky,& Kadri as of now-Id argue the Blues would have better overall forwards-though not the star power of Mckinnon/Rantanen at the top. They also have a proven Cup goalie.Avs have 2 good backups-with potential-who haven't proven much. Why I'm hoping he doesn't end up there.
But he has a better chance to win big for sure,& surrounding help to put up another great season in St Louis,Vegas,Florida,& NYR. In Dallas,Nashville,or NJ-the other rumored teams-arguable either way with Calgary. But guess what all those teams arent…in Canada.
So Calgary, my only hope for a Canadian championship besides Edmonton, is now rebuilding.
No?
For me, a hockey lover and Detroit fan-resident (Michigan) I always felt that if Detroit is out id like to see Vancouver or Calgary to grab it.
In spite of my dislike for dirty play.
Well, looks like Stevie Y has half the league rebuilding now.
Thats good.
One, just one of the many lessons here is that dirty assholes aren’t really wanted on a team that is legitimately trying for the cup.
Good luck all of you!
Maybe grab the chunk brothers with Marchand and Wilson and then the rest, maybe they can get into big-time wrestling ?
😂
Justice
Eat it CowTown
What was he supposed to say… no ?
Would love for him to play for Toronto
Maybe he wants to go to Boston to be with his middle and high school friend Jason Tatum
Because reality happened and it turns out he lied…
I wonder how much that quote that was posted by his agent wasn't agent posturing. It's also possible that the relationship with management might have soured as well.
What happened in 2 months?…You mean what happened in 5 games? Oilers 4 Flames 1…..Johnny heard the usual "he is too soft for the playoffs, he is not a playoff performer" comments from FLAMES FANS!!!….Johnny had enough, So him and his buddy Gudbranson both split for Columbus. Chucky realised this was the best time to get out because without Johnny his numbers will drop significantly. That would dramatically affect his leverage for his next contract with St.Louis. Simple really. It's all Edmonton's fault.
He realized he’d have to live in Calgary
Didn't gaudreua say the same thing?
Wait to see what cgy got!!!
