The blockbuster trade made this morning between the Jets and Blue Jackets was the topic of conversation. Jets captain Blake Wheeler spoke about the trade, his relationship with Patrik Laine and much more.

Wheeler is perfectly happy that Laine is gone. Apparently, he was always scared of how Laine could compromise his position on the team and therefore schemed behind Laine's back and downplayed him so that he wouldnt be a problem. What a disgrace!

its the nature of 'selfish individuals'…. Laine apparently has been very selfish… baby sitting of immature players… a few generations ago people took far more responsibility than the entitled crowd of this generation.. seem reasonable for Wheeler to try to push him a bit so he grows, gets tougher etc…. as he was a baby…. can always look back but he works hard & don't blame him at all…

Wheeler and Scheifele did everything they could to make life a real hell for Laine and Roslovic because they couldn't stand that these two players were better than them, and the people loved these players. May Laine and Roslovic have a great great year and show Maurice how poor his choice of good talent is. Hellebuyckis another player how thinks his shit doesn't stink. We will never win the cup with him as the goalie. And look at how useless Wheeler and Scheifele are this year, but they still get 25 to 30 minutes a game and all the power play time.
