What a speed? Over 200mph – Isle of Man TT 2023 – Best Moments, Pure sounds
Over 200mph – What a speed? Isle of Man TT 2023 – Best Moments, Pure sounds Peter Hickman has become the first person ever to officially clock 200mph through the Sulby Speed Trap! #iomtt #isleofmantt #tt2023
Peter is surely in a class of his own. Without sounding disrespectful to other road racers , wow! I always thought he had more in the tank. I reckon he saw Micheal Dunlop was going quick and seemed really up for it and put this down as his own marker. Massive respect to mr Hickman. I was watching documentary about him last week ,he’s such a calm ,intelligent fella. Very thoughtful and not a bit cocky ,or arrogant. It’s a pleasure to see him race. All the very best to you over on the island this year ,in fact all the very best to all riders/racers at TT. 👍
The ability to pick a line and wrestle a two wheeled missile to exactly where you want it is just off the scale skilful and unbelievably courageous. What faith they have in their ability and machine. These are the only true gladiators in the modern world. Massive respect for all of those who enter this incredible spectacle whether they finish first or last, I salute them all.
I’ve been watching the Isle Of Man races for decades and I never get used to the speed the go through these small towns at. I’ve been riding motorcycles since the late 60’s and it still blows me away.
Thank you all that upload these videos for us that can't come to watch the race live . I hope to someday to come and see the tt in person but for now watching you tube will have to do for now .
High speeds aren't everything, at the IOM TT where slower-moving competitors are just as exciting to watch as the course is so demanding of rider and machine. Modern TT riders and machines are phenomenal in their performance and abilities. However, for how much longer can we expect higher speeds and record-breaking performances as each new TT season comes to an end. Does the thrill of racing always depend on ever-increasing speeds? Are we in danger of expecting riders to take too higher risks to enhance our enjoyment?
Hey you wanna race a circuit that the only year without a fatality or fatalities was in 1982? Sounds like fun when do we go? Crazy crazy crazy That's why I am a Moped racer 125cc class if I crash it's more funny than scary, I did scratch my knee which really hurt
The crew who fix potholes and patch the road throughout the year must be highly paid specialists- as opposed to shovel leaners – to be trusted to keep these road hazard free.

Nice footage cheers
I cant see right speed
I'm surprised there's dust on the road in the first seconds of the video 🫣
it's a time trial not a race??. have a proper race not time trial
In una gara di wordsbk Hichman😊 arriverebbe tra le ultime posizioni anche con una Ducati ufficiale
Anything above 200 mph and the air literally changes the status that Air normally has esp on the ground

Great to see all alngles filmed on a 2006 Mobile phone..
Love hicky , he definitely deserves to win a championship in the future 👍
How do they go that fast carrying huge balls like they have ?
Am i right in thinking bruce anstey clocked 206 mph along Crosby in the 2007 TT ? ( practice session) evaluating gearing options?
Be even quicker if he wasn't such a broad fella I reckon
This is a riding skill at a level that GP racers can only dream of.
