I get on Buff for some of his stupid moves,but i don't see this as one of them.Delayed penalty on Mon,& Buff tried to keep the play alive.Worst thing out of this entire sequence was the high stick by Gallagher.Interferance on who Gallagher?The reason i say that is,once again Buff actually played the puck.
Nope. As has been mentioned, it looks worse than it really was because of the size differential. However, just imagine if the role was reversed and it was Gallagher that levelled Byfuglien in the same fashion. Hell, the pea-soupers would have thrown him a parade the next day and he would have a statue outside the Bell Centre. Then everything would be alright with the world, wouldn't it? Yeah, Queebs……you know it's true. But alas, it's a shame they didn't have to cart that smug little piece of crap off the ice.
Clean Hit. The penalty on the play should have been called interference. There was no elbow involved in the hit. Gallagher by no means is a saint and plays with the same intentions as Buff. It was a beauty hit though. Would love to see Buff in a Bruins uniform, that would be great to see him paste the Canadiens 5 times a year
this shows why teams like boston and la win cups, you hit one of their players and they dont just push you, they do everything they can to hurt you back. canadians teams way too soft

why does Ladd have to protect buff from Gallagher who I'm going out on a limb is much smaller then buff. it's not like he was going to mcsorley him with a swing of his stick.
It's a lot of drama for a borderline hit. Gallagher is a flapper, Matthew Barnaby type. Like making things look worse than they are. Don't like those guys. At least players like Tucker and Neil would be a pest but at least be able to stick up for themselves.

clean. buff is just a tank and people go flying like that when he has them lined up. If contact was on the head, gallagher would still be sleeping.
