I really hope they bring Austin Watson in.
Inevitably Letang and/or Karlsson will miss some games. Rhuwedel is not good enough to pick up temporary slack in that instance. Smith could play on the right side, but it seems like the Pens could use another depth RD.

Only Carter is guaranteed a spot in the bottom 6. Around 10 players fighting for 5 spots makes it tough

I see Tatar on a 1.5 merc deal as the best option to play with Carter
I remember seeing Johnny score in an 11 round shoot out against the Flyers…not your 8-digit stars. (91-16-34-44 etc.)

I would bring Heinen back at near league minimum.
+4 goal differential with Crosby last season. Scored 3 of the 6 goals the line scored himself. 59% CF.
His scoring rate was still good last year. 6th on the team in 5v5 P/P60. Sullivan opted to crush his game count and minutes though, even though there were worse players around Heinen in the bottom 6 who got away with no scratches.
I still feel he's someone that can outperform his contract.
If carter has to play center it wouldn't be 3c like last year, it would be 4th. And 10 goals like last hear would be above average for 4th line center. Isn't Johanson a center too?
Is it possible Comtois hasn't signed because he was part of that 2018 Team Canada roster? Maybe teams are waiting for the conclusion of the investigation. idk
