Refs should never intercept that’s the linesmen’s job

  2. giantwalrus56

When ground (ice) & pound starts ufc style

  3. habulous74

When it’s safe for them to do so. If a bonehead like Sergachev wants to drop the gloves, he’ll get what he gets. If I’m a linesman, I’m not taking a stray punch because someone thought they were a tough guy.

If a player hits the ice, turtles, or it’s turned into a grappling match (this one takes some instincts). Or of course one guy is done

That fight was something, Sergy’s face was covered with blood but he just skated off and laughed, I have a picture of it lol fun times

  6. Battch91

When the combatants are tired and it’s safe for them to do so

  7. jerrybettman

Exactly when they did. About the time one player gains an unfair advantage and there is an opening to get in there

The linesmen shall intervene when either player is no longer able to defend themself.

  9. UnleashYourMind462

When one of the players speaks they’re finished. Or is out cold.

When someone hits the ice, gets pinned against the boards, or becomes otherwise defenseless for whatever reason, but I think a lot of those calls require more sense and intuition than some of these zebras seem to have.

My personal pick for playoff MVP Sam Bennett.

  12. DangerRanger_21

    1) player on the ice

    2) player pinned up against the boards and unable to defend themselves

If one of the combatants is a player on the Golden Knights, immediately. Otherwise, whenever.

  14. It’s a boxing match and part of hockey. Respect SHOULD always be the end result. But fighting in hockey makes it the delicacy of a sport that it is. I’d hate to see hockey without fighting honestly.

Lol never, let those two hurt each other.

  16. DragLongjumping3714

Seemed they did a good job there.

  17. As soon as one of the guys is visibly tired/done and as soon as one guy hits the ice (unless he tripped and gets back up in like a second)
