I don't understand why they fought. Bieska barely hit him and Simmonds acts like he's mother's name was besmirched. If you can't take even the slightest tap Wayne, get the fuck off the ice.
Bieksa showed great technique taking the helmet off while punching. He gained the inside and stayed in control very nicely. Probably the best technical fighter in the game today.
OMG – THANK YOU KEVIN BIEKSA!!!! I've hated Simmonds just pounding guys for years & this video came up on my YouTube today! You were a beast when you drop the gloves, but taking him down was PRICELESS!!! This just became my all time favorite hockey fight!!!
