Jeff Petry has been traded to the Montreal Canadiens. Petry is a veteran defenceman who will provide the Habs with valuable leadership. He has already proven to be a great defenceman for the Montréal Canadiens in the past. Petry has a great shot and he is efficient both on the powerplay and the pk. This is why I think Jeff Petry’s return to the Montreal Canadiens will be successful.

Not even sure he’ll play for MTL next season… will probably be traded to an other team 50% retained (total AAV around 2M) for draft picks
