DeSmith is an extra goalie. Maybe a security blanket if Primeau is claimed on waivers, but still doesn’t really make sense unless Allen is a goner.
I don’t see why Petry would play for us again. I think he was just passed on to us so we could retain a 2nd time (after Pittsburgh) on him and then flip him again.
Légaré is a decent kid, waiver exempt, turns RFA next summer.
